 Born in Devon in 1943 into an artistic family. The grandson of Wycliffe Egginton RI (1875-1951), and nephew of Frank Egginton RCA (l908-1990). Spent a number of years living and painting in Devon, and travelled regularly to Scotland to paint. In 1983 he moved to Morayshire in the heart of the highlands. In more recent years he travelled to Ireland usually in the Spring and Autumn to paint all along the West Coast. Always paints out of doors capturing the light and atmosphere of the Irish Landscape. |
