 Fergal has been painting since 1978 and full time since 1986. He studied under the late Henry Healy RHA, Desmond Carrick RHA and John Coyle RHA. He has painted widely throughout Ireland especially in the west and south where he finds particular inspiration in the landscapes and seascape of these regions. He has painted abroad in Crete, the Balearic Islands and in Andalucia, Spain, in the Algarve, Portugal and in Kenya. He has exhibited in the Oireachtas, the Royal Hibernian Academy and the Royal Ulster Academy. |
